Allen Ravenstine — On the MountainTransparent Violet 12-inch at 45 RPM | Limited to 500 copiesSynthesizer pioneer Allen Ravenstine reunites with fellow Pere Ubu member David Thomas on a new release featuring one of Thomas’s last recorded vocal performances. On the Mountain includes two versions of the title track, with Mike Watt and William Blakeney joining Ravenstine and Thomas on the alternate version. A reimagining of Minutemen’s “The World According to Nouns,” performed by Ravenstine and Robert Wheeler on synthesizers, completes the three-track release.All four titles arrive November 27 through independent record stores.
