May 2, 2025—Today, Liberia-bornTennessee-based Afro-Appalachian folk artist Mon Rovîa returns with his new single “Oh Wide World,” a moving anthem of courage, connection, and the quiet strength it takes to keep going. The release follows his critically praised Act 4: Atonement EP, the final chapter in a bold and introspective four-part series. “’Oh Wide World’ is a testament to resilience and hope, urging listeners to step beyond fear into boundless opportunity. In these challenging times, this song gently reminds us to embrace the world’s goodness. It reflects the healing power of embracing one’s truth, especially for me as a man navigating mental health struggles.  As part of Mental Health Awareness Month, Mon Rovîa is partnering with the nonprofit To Write Love On Her Arms, an organization dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with mental health. A portion of the proceeds from “Oh Wide World” will be donated to the organization in support of its mission to connect people to the resources they need and remind them they are not alone. Originally from Liberia and now based in Tennessee, Mon’s unique sound blends cultural influences and modern folk tradition. Recognized as one of Spotify’s 2024 Juniper Artists to Watch, Mon Rovîa continues to captivate audiences across the globe. He has sold out every headline show to date and has graced the stages of major festivals including BonnarooAustin City Limits, and the Newport Folk Festival. He toured with Gregory Alan Isakov, and previously supported Josiah and the Bonnevilles, bringing his evocative live performances to an ever-growing fan base. His international presence is expanding, with a highly anticipated sold-out European tour scheduled for May 2025.
