Montreal’s The Last Mile is about trying to find the good in the world. It often feels like we’re constantly being beaten down, and it’s getting harder to want to participate. The name of the band’s upcoming album, “Holding On To Hope,” is an. open and honest expression of how they feel. The first single, “Anything,” is a rallying call to help inspire those who are feeling lost or forgotten. There was a time when people believed that they could be anything they wanted, but that feeling is waning and people are feeling helpless. It’s time to believe in ourselves again.
