Featuring rich, soulful vocals from Kingston-based artist Aynzli Jones, the song [‘medusa’] is not designed to track chart success of streaming numbers, instead existing just for the sake of art itself — the prevailing ethos for output from the imprint.”
“[‘On Air’] plays to the strengths of both artists, pairing serpentwithfeet’s singular voice with Moby’s lush production.”
“‘Should Sleep’” by Moby and J.P. Bimeni captures the enchanting groove reminiscent of the euphoric dance floors that once thrived in 1980s New York City clubs.”

Today, acclaimed electronic musician, producer and activist Moby shares remixes of “where is your pride?” from electronic producer/DJs Kilimanjarolisten here and Airricalisten here. The original track, a collaboration with and homage to the late Benjamin Zephaniah, was originally released as a single in May 2024 and appears on the critically acclaimed album Always Centered At Night, which is out now.
Airrica’s remix is a dancefloor banger, sure to flood clubs this summer, and the Kilimanjaro remix strips back the beat, bringing Zephaniah’s poignant spoken word message to the fore, creating a powerful tribal mantra throughout as it builds to the climax.
On working with Moby, Kilimanjaro says, “It’s an absolute honour to have been asked to remix this record. I’ve been a huge fan of Moby for as long as I can remember. ‘Play’ was one of the first electronic albums I ever heard and it properly opened my eyes to what music could be. Benjamin Zephaniah is obviously such a massive cultural icon and has done so much for the creative scene and black community, respectively. So getting the opportunity to work on a project with his vocal on it was a real privilege.”
The video for the original track was approved by Zephaniah’s family and is a celebration of his life’s work. Over the propulsive, break-beats the dub poet speaks in his characteristically warm burr: “Where is your love? / Where is your faith? / Where is your hope? / Where is your place? / Where is your pride?”
Benjamin Zephaniah said, “Just as we have tried to end sexism and racism, we must try to end speciesism. A vegan lifestyle is the ultimate protest against animal exploitation.”
Moby shares, “As a vegan activist, and as a wise and compassionate man, Benjamin inspired me for many years. I hope that ‘where is your pride’ honors his legacy and also draws people’s attention to his life, work, and principles.”
Moby is a multi-platinum-selling, multi-award-winning singer, songwriter, producer, author, and animal rights activist. He has been a vegan and vegan activist for 35 years and last year released his directorial debut Punk Rock Vegan Movie via his production company Little Walnut, a passionate and stylistically idiosyncratic look at the ongoing relationship between the worlds of punk rock and animal rights. It includes interviews with some of the biggest names in punk and rock history.
All-new remixes by Kilimanjaro and Airicca of Moby’s “where is your pride?” are out now here and here. Keep up with all things Moby on YouTubeFacebookTwitter and Instagram.
