Blending poetic lyricism with raw emotional insight, the Canada-born, LA-based artist offers a song that captures the kind of love that feels so right, it almost doesn’t make sense.“One morning, I was trying to challenge myself to come up with a title even more positive than ‘Shine,’” says Stochansky. “I landed on ‘Stupid Perfect’ and imagined this couple who decided, in that moment, to finally call their relationship what it was—amazing. The first time I played it live, two women came up after and said they’d decided to get married to the song.
