Tour Poster by Joel Abadwww.joelabad.comCzech Republic punk powerhouse Krang blends 90s skatepunk with pop-culture chaos. They’re not just messing around—they’re serious about the craft. Born in 2014, Krang started as a fun project between four friends obsessed with legends like Millencolin, Descendents, and Bad Religion. But what started as a lark quickly turned into something way bigger. Their breakout EP smashed it, especially with the viral music video for “OK USA!”, inspired by Bloodspor (yes, the Jean-Claude Van Damme classic), which even JCVD shared on his socials. From there, they tore through Europe, Mexico, Central America, Israel, Japan, and the US, building a loyal following. They even scored the chance to support punk icons Useless ID on tour. Keep an eye on Krang—they’re just getting started.Stream the latest album here: https://krangpunkrock.bandcamp.com/album/listens-to-krang-on…“Howdy pardners! Krang is a four-piece skate punk band from the Czech Republic, formed in late 2014 by longtime friends with a shared love for fast riffs, melodic hooks, and the golden era of 90s punk rock. Originally launched as a fun side project influenced by bands like Millencolin, Bad Religion, and Descendents, Krang quickly grew into something bigger. In early 2015, they dropped their debut EP OK USA!, a playful nod to their favorite action movies and cult classics. Later that year, they released their first full-length album Baddest Brain through Bird Attack Records, establishing themselves as a serious force in the international punk scene. A string of successful international tours followed, including stops in Mexico, Central America, Israel, and Japan.Their 2018 follow-up album Singalong, released via Bird Attack Records and Melodic Punk Style, continued their momentum with anthemic choruses and infectious energy. The band returned in 2021 with MAGA (Make Arcade Great Again). In 2024, Krang released their most ambitious effort to date, “Listens To Krang Once” produced by Yotam Ben Horin of Useless ID, blending nostalgia-fueled themes with a tight melodic skate punk sound, a high-octane mix of political commentary, 80s/90s pop culture tributes, and sharp musicianship. With nods to TMNT, vintage video games, and iconic cartoons, the record showcases the band’s ability to balance social messages with fun, fast-paced punk rock.Krang has grown from a side project into one of Europe’s most exciting melodic punk acts, keeping the spirit of classic skate punk alive while pushing the genre forward with their own twist.
